Jack is doing really well, with all of our traveling he did great. He slept well for the most part, and was a very easy baby to travel with, that being said, traveling and flying with a baby is just more stressful. For starters, when you have to fly you have to take everything apart to get through security. Baby out of the stroller, car seat and stroller seperated, so that is fun to do along with your carryons, etc. Then when you get on the plane you hope you aren't going to be that person who's baby screams the whole way. I was once on a flight to or from Hawaii where a baby screamed for a good 3-4 hours straight, the parents were distraught and those of us within about 6 rows were rather frustrated too. Everyone pities those parents, and nobody wants to be them. So we were very thankful Jack slept through most of the flights and didn't scream for any prolonged amount of time.
So new Jack things:
He now has 2 teeth, the first one he cut the night before the Boston marathon, so you can imagine that daddy did not get much sleep.
He is eating cereal, sweet potato, and banana, he eats twice a day, banana and cereal in the morning about 11, and cereal and sweet potato in the evening about 6:30.
He is consistently sleeping 8-10 hours at a time and 12-13 total at night!!! Yea! He started this at Ft. Knox, but then we messed it up traveling and he has been doing it since we got here a week ago.
A normal day now looks like this:
up about 8, nurse
play for 2 hours-this is his happiest time and he will do almost an hour of independent playtime on the mat/and in his jumper
nap for about 45 min
wake up and eat food, then about 45 min later, nurse
playtime/errand time, then another nap
about 3 o'clock nurse again and then play then nap-this nap is the hardest one now, we usually have to take a walk to get him to go down around 5. he still needs this nap or he won't make it till 7.
then play with daddy, eat food, and play until 7:30 for bath time then nurse one last time and to bed.
it has been great for me because eating is getting much more regulated. 8-12-3:30-7:30 and usually one night feeding at 4-5 am.

Other fun things he is doing include finding his feet, almost rolling from back to front, and making all sorts of noises. He has found a screeching noise this week that is not our favorite, we hope he finds a new one next week. We are just enjoying him every day. He is a real joy, he is loving his hands, still eating on them, will not take a pacifier anymore, he loves his toys and can now pick up his ball, pass it to his other hand and then put it on the other side of him, if he is happy and can reach his toys he will roll onto his side to get them. He is also really enjoying books, looking at pictures and trying to eat them. He is feeling everything and most things he tries to pull to his mouth.
