Beach day, Mothers Day, and a special visit!

For Mothers Day my husband got me a wonderful purse that I have been wanting (see below) and he took me to the beach with our friends Dave and Holly, it was Jack's second visit to the beach, but his first time to get in. This is me dipping him in the water. It was cold, so he was not too excited, don't worry we only put his feet in. We took a nice walk on the beach and it was a beautiful day! I LOVED it.

The other exciting thing is that Kim came to visit!!! We have been having a great time together. We have been walking on the trail, eating milkshakes and salmon patties and made a trip to Babies R Us, and as a special surprise Carrie was driving by Fayetteville yesterday and was able to stop by for a visit. It was such a great day and wonderful time to visit.

It was the first time we had seen each other in about a year. What a blessing.
